China to set up 13 pv stations calls for bids…

Apr-22nd-2011

BEIJING As various as 13 photovoltaic PV power-generating stations, each with an instalment capacity of 20-30MWp for a total of 280MWp, would have ~ing set up by Chinas National Energy Administration. The 13 photovoltaic PV might-generating stations will come up in the northwestern region and Inner Mongolia.

The National Energy Administration has before-mentioned it has called for tender of open bids for the installations. Bidding is expected to take set on August 10 this year, with results expected to be announced means of that month itself.

According to a DigiTimes report, the photovoltaic systems could be made of silicon-based or thin-film modules.

However, it has been sharp out that minimum energy conversion rates of 15 per cent, 14 by means of cent and 6.5 per cent are required for monocrystalline silicon cells, polycrystalline silicon cells and lank-film modules, respectively. It is a known fact that subsidized electricity price for the PV projects are likely to range between 1.1-1.3 yuan/watt.

It is in addition expected that by around the end of August, the National Energy Administration would form public the details of a feed-in-tariff policy
